Yes, but the account you deposit to should be the same as the name on your lease. The lease normally has the name and place to mail your payment. Depositing your rent directly to the account, will assure your rent is there on time and you will have your deposit receipt and your cancelled check to show you paid. This is an option we give our residents. Normally, they are provided a blank deposit slip to start. They can copy that or fill one out at the bank. Most of the residents love this. One even pays direct with a transfer since they use the same bank.
