I have been in real estate for 10 years now, after a 20 year career in the USAF. In the Air Force the focus is on training. If you are well trained well in the beginning, you will be able to move to any location and perform the required tasks. Real Estate is the same way. RE/MAX is an incredible company, but not designed to train newer agents. In our area, I would tell you Coldwell Banker United has the most incredible training program around, and with an office in all of our areas, FWB, Niceville, Crestview, Navarre, Gulf Breeze, San Destin and Panama City under one broker, you can go to any of them and work as if it were your primary office if you were in that area. Most of your expenses are covered to include signs, business cards, office space, National and International exposure. When you are well trained you can negotiate your commissions in the future. When I started in real estate, it only took me about 3 months to decide that my company was lacking in the training they promised, and I quickly moved. That's the beauty of our field, you can move locations quickly if the fit isn't there. Good Luck.
