Hiring a landscape professional to help with your yard is a rewarding experience. Before you make your final decision, I have one suggestion for you. Take a copy of your survey to a local reputable nursery and ask the manager or qualified staff to pencil in landscape ideas for you. Not only would you receive valuable free counsel, but you could actually take a look at the suggested plants immediatley. Once you have made your decision, you may shop around for the best bargins or attempt to negotiate a deal with the nursery who was kind enough to provide you the free advise. If you are not into planting, contact a landscape professional to complete the job. Then, enjoy your neat yard this summer! Remember, keeping up the curb appeal helps when its time to sell. Then, call me!
Best Wishes!

Drew,

You made two important observation, you are not an expert landscape designer, and you have very little time, therefore it make sense to hire an expert. It would be money well spent since a good design would further enhance the property and possible the value.

If you want to give it a try check out DIY videos or others on YouTube.

Hi Drew
Based on what you said yes you should hire a landscaper. If you don't have time to do it yourself that is your only option. Good luck.
