If the agent has the listing and is offering a lower rate for their buyer (dual agent) for both, it could be fine. If the agent is lowering it for another buyer, not their own, they could be violating their relationship with their buyer. Hi,

I apologize if the image associated with your property page caused you any inconvenience and I am happy to help in any way I can. Please be advised the image you are seeing is provided to us from Google images of which we do not have the ability to edit or remove. My recommendation would be to contact Google to request they blur out your photo and home photo. Please feel free to use these steps:

How to get your property blurred:
1. On your Trulia Property Page, click 'View Map'.
2. Click 'Street View'.
3. Click 'Report a problem' found on the bottom right of the photo.
4. Fill out the form.
5. Click Submit.

Hopefully this information is helpful.

My mother and I bought paired housing at Westport in Greenwood In, This was supposed to be an exciting time building our first home, however, Westport will lead you to believe they will fix issues as you go along but they just tell you what you want to hear and then they will do what they want you to have. They have gotten us so upset about putting covered porch concrete where it runs towards the house, the washer and dryer hook ups are the opposite sides they should be on and the garbage disposal is on the wrong side of the sink. The full slab they built on is running every which way, none of the rooms are level. This is just a few issues we have had with them. I would suggest you find a different builder. Good luck! ... more

John Burke answered:
Hi Karen,

Since you are already on the Deed, this will have to be treated as a refinance. This will be a little bit tricky. You'll have to show that you've been making the mortgage payments for at least 12 months to document what's called continuity of obligation.

You also may not need to wait for another year or 2 depending on your credit scores, when the sale date was on your last home & when your BK was discharged.

Take a look at the recommendations from some of my past clients on my Trulia profile by clicking the link below my phone number.

Please feel free to contact me for more information or help.

Hi Bms,

191 Meadow Ridge was sold in June of this year. It looks like the agent hasn't updated the homes profile on Zillow/Trulia.

Are you still looking for a home in the area? I specialize in the NW corner of Columbus and would be happy to help! =)

It is definitely the best approach, before you spend time, money and gas looking for homes you should at a minimum get pre-approved. I actually encourage much more than that whether a DU Approval or a Full credit approval the more detailed your approval the better as it could save you money and help you get your offer accepted if you are bidding against other buyers. I only currently offer loans in Florida but I wrote more about this topic on my blog feel free to read it as not everything will apply to you but it will still help better prepare you. Best of luck on your home search, God Bless! ... more

Sally Grenier answered:
Hahahaha! I do hear this a lot, and it always amuses me because most buyers and sellers really have zero idea what actually goes on behind the scenes of a real estate transaction. Buyers think you can just go online, search houses, and call the listing agent, make and offer, and be done. Sellers think you can just put a sign in the ground, or put the house on Zillow (as a FSBO), get calls from buyers and accept an offer.

The truth of the matter is that listing a house (or finding a house to buy) is the EASY part. However, people don't realize that is actually when most of the work begins.

I wrote a couple of blog posts on the subject. See below.

Just in the last week I've had three appraisals come in low (one for sellers, two for buyers). What would you do in that scenario? Most people don't have any idea what your options are, or how to deal with it.

Enjoy!
