Hi,

There are lots of nice houses in the Deerfield Beach area.

You say you want 2 bedrooms, and I assume you would also want two baths. There are many condos, villas, and single family houses available.

Do you have any pets? Some communities have restrictions on size and type of dog.

How soon do you want to move in? Will you be coming to Florida to look for houses, or are you planning to do it all from Connecticut?

Give me some more information and I will customize a search based on your criteria.

You can call, text or email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Joann,
If you are referring to the Sunrise Lakes Condos, the over 55 community, they do not allow any pets. Let me know what you are looking for and I will send you properties that do allow a small dog.

yes it is a very good area and I think you would be very happy there. It is a good location to get to and from the airports, both in Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and close to all shopping centers and points of interest. The beaches here are clean and you can be a part of the fun and activities that are available in Deerfield or you can take a quiet walk or read a book.I would love to help you find the perfect spot, but I would ask you to call or e mail me with some details that can help us choose the best place ,at the best price for you.I do have a listing that is in Deerfield ,but the complex does not allow pets .I also might suggest looking in the Boca -Delray area as an alternative but there are also places that are good in Ft Lauderdale too. Please feel free to contact me at 561 289 5922 or by e mail at :Jodattolico@aol.com. ... more

Hello Nvpaiute,

Many of the available homes for sale are still short sales and bank repo's. Both of these can still take an extended time to close. Between that, and the fact that there tend to be multiple buyers offering on many homes, 4-6 months is not unrealistic to start your home search.

"Starting" should involve getting yourself approved for a loan to begin with. Most sellers will not look at a buyer unless they are pre-approved. From there, seeing properties via an MLS search sent to your email will help you get to know areas. You will be come more educated as you go.

Once you are ready to start looking, you will be much better prepared. If I can assist you, or if you'd like to have homes sent to you, or need help finding a lender, feel free to contact me. I'd be glad to help.

Deerfield Beach is very close to all kind of shopping. We are five minutes of the Town Center Mall, there are beach stores with ocean view, and a really nice flea market just ten minutes away. Deerfield Beach is also just 20 minutes from the Sawgress Mall, the biggest outlet mall in FL. It is also very fun. The beach is the best with lots of things to do: surfing, volleyball, diving, fishing (there is a nice pier) etc. I have a townhome for sale in Deerfield Beach. If interested, you can e-meil me at paloma60@hotmail.com ... more

Quiet Waters is a true treasure. You have to try the water ('cable') skiing. It is a great way to cool off in the heat, bring all your friends (and your video camera!). Pioneer Park is a 13.5-acre park with a wide variety of amenities that are sure to please everyone. For the sports fan there are three ball fields, six tennis courts, a lighted basketball court, in-line hockey rink and a multi-purpose field for soccer and flag football. Boaters can take advantage of the ramp that leads into the Hillsboro Canal to the ocean. Outdoor amenities include picnic tables and a gazebo, which is available to rent for picnics and parties. Yes there are dog parks which I will research for you, running paths -- try the beach, A1A -- especially great for rollerblading. ... more
