There is always inherent risks involved within the purchase of a home. Inspections are a valueable tool in limiting the risk factor.
WTS, 2 hopefully unbiased inspectors did not conclude that there was any major damage. Not to say that there is'nt any. (But, none positively noted at this time.) This is in your favor. If the contract price is low enough to off-set the possibility of excessive damage and getting a proper treatment and Hm. is located in a great area and the floor plan fits your families needs very well, -then I would still consider Buying it "IF" it were me personally. (There are NEVER any guarantees!)
But, I would try to negotiate some repair $$$, a Home warrantee and a Termite treatment into the deal.
Good Luck to you!
