You could contact a Realtor so they could pull out the Property Tax Records or request a Property Title Report and have an idea of any Loans or liens recorded in the property (at no cost). . Remember the amounts might not be current because the amounts showed are the amounts owed when they were recorded, but they can give you an idea. ... more

Two units there went through foreclosure and were quickly resold. If you are looking for similar quality to 110 Maple the only ones I have seen in Dedham in that price range are two now for sale at 32 Fairview Street...a gutted and totally rebuilt house with top-end finishes and a much quieter neighborhood (Oakdale) than Maple Place (with the post office across the street)... ... more

There was a short period of time we were getting tagged every weekend. after multiple reports to the police - and multiple times cleaning the grafitti either the kids no longer came to the neighborhood - or didn't have bus fare anymore to come to Dedham (there is a bus line on Washington st that kids would walk down Bussey St to get). It is hard do understand the motives of a seller or their agent. Good photos are definitely the first line of marketing a home for sale.

Sometimes as a listing agent because a seller is unwilling to clean up I am inclined not to show photos of the interior as it detracts from the home. Other than that I have no great answers!! ... more

Thanks for checking in with the responders! We always love to these questions to come full circle.

You mention your concern regarding homes that your current agent showed you (thanks for clarifying that the relationship is "implied" by the way). IF you end up moving forward on a home that agent #1 showed you...and he or she finds out...he or she may seek compensation. He or she may not be able to prove that he/she had "procuring cause" but just be aware that it could come up sometime down the line.
