We will not see the market turn around until vacant lots and commercial real estate start selling again.
As for prices, Debary and Deland historically hold better values than Deltona or Orange City, the 2 other of the 4 townes areas.
I have kept inventory records monthly since August 2005, when inventory was so low...and we were in the "boom". Check out this page of my website and see for yourself. Except for Jan., Debary's inventory has deviated monthly by no more than 23 homes.
AFTER the market stabilizes and no longer declines, it is estimated that prices will not increase for 5-8 years.
