It sounds like you could be in a good position with this property. If you purchased the home originally at less than market value, your equity may have grown. Our inventory of available homes for sale has been steadily declining in recent months, and our average price per sale of homes has been rising. Both of these would generally be good for someone in your position.

To properly discuss your situation, an agent would need to know more about the property - ie the size, location, number of bedrooms and baths, etc. There are many potential buyers who may be interested in your home, for example investors who seek "fixer-uppers" and first time home buyers who may want to do their own repairs as a way to help them get into a home for less.

I just replied to a similar question--it is the same reply to you--If you are home selling each home is a case by case basis as real estate is not only based on subdivision location but on condition and upgrades and desirability of buyer's. I can help you determine what would be a good selling price just give me the street number and I will send you the past 3 months to 6 months sales in that subdiviison or area.

In our MLS system the listing agent has the option of displaying the address or not. It could be that your listing agent selected the option not to display the address. If you would like your address to be made public just notify your listing agent & I'm sure it can be easily changed ... more

It may depend on the MLS rules for your area. We have a 48 hour rule in Central Florida--unless the seller specifically requests it (in writing) to be held off the MLS until a certain date.

Call your Realtor and ask him to send you an email copy of the MLS info. Also you may want to verify your realtor has paid his dues and is active and able to input your listing into the MLS. He must be a member of a Realtor board and also pay fees for MLS access. You can probably search for your agent on the local realtor board's website. If not, you can call them to inquire. Some agents are in a distressed financial condition and may not pay their fees.

Lastly if you need to, you can call the main number for the real estate firm you signed your listing agreement with and ask for the broker. The brokerage is ultimately responsible for the behaviour of their agents.
