Hi Sylvie,

the listing price for a property is not written in stone, it is a listing price and nothing else. The price you finally pay can be more or less depending on the market as well as the negotiating skills of your realtor.

We have many tools we can use to not only evaluate the comparables but also research the market and
give you the insight in to the market to help you present the best offers most likely to secure you your dream home.

Remember the listing agent is generally representing the seller and you are best represented by a selling agent who is working to represent your best interests.

Good Luck with your home search and if you need any assistance call me: 305-900-9121

Hi Steve, Realtors are the wrong people to ask those questions...
If you are focusing on a certain neighborhood, town, suburb etc. then you can research a lot of that information on the internet, the Realtor you are working with to find your home, will be of help letting you know about the
various websites that provide all kinds of neighborhood information. In particular if you are concerned about safety issues, stop by the local police dept. and get all the questions you have answered there....

To get to know your potential future neighborhood, it is a good idea to drive through it at different times of the day and different days of the week, to get a feel for the neighborhood, how far to schools, how far to shopping and restaurants, parks etc.

Good Luck to you

Agree with Bill, however even the police may not be able to give you answers to a general question such ad how safe it is in one area or the another. Remember it is the police responsibility to make sure people rights are not violated in all areas.
I would like to suggest that questions directed to law enforcement be more specific such as asking for public documented information on crime rates, accidents reported....etc. TV channels may be helpful and so are news media. It will need research efforts and if you have children, visiting the county school board information on schools will be very helpful. Also visiting City website to learn about different area demographics I find to be most helpful.

Best of luck
