These sellers were dreamers listed for $995,000 in 2009 and then they dropped to $799,000 in 2011 and $724,000 in 2012. I can send you a comps in 2 minutes of values that are a lot less. There are some homes in that area are still off close to 30% of what they sold for in 2007. This area is 20+ miles from Portland and a long commute. It is hard to get acreage inside 20 miles to Portland but eastside is a lot less than westside. Send me an email if you want more information. Tanya, I'm am not sure how you got to this listing since it sold last year, but it does show a transfer in March for $7000. This was bank owned and it sold for more than list price. It sold in 2000 for $417 again in 2004 for $468,500 and we are down below 2004 prices if you watch the news right now. It is a great time to buy with rates in the mid 4%. The large piece of ground is what is hard to find with a good house on it and that is why there were multiple offers last year in this lower price range. Tanya there are 15 homes for sale in Damascus on 1-2 acres right now between $39,000-$539,000 and some much newer at the same price as this one. Call or email me if you would like further information. Thanks, Tom Inglesby, RE/MAX Broker ... more

Craigs list is good like Dave said and Trulia also has rentals but only 2 show up right now in Damascus. You might call some rental property managers out in that area. Good Luck.
