My son graduated from Apple Valley High School in 2009. He was a special needs child and the school worked one on one with him to make sure that he was getting the education that he needed. They always informed me about his progress. The school has a wonderful extra curricular activities in the high school, and the community programs are accommodating to anyone that wants to participate, no matter the income level. I have lived in Apple Valley for over 22 years and would recommend this area to anyone that wants to raise a family. I would recommend the school district to anyone that wants to move to this area. We really can't address those kinds of questions because the Dept. of Commerce (they regulate our industry and decide when we're acting inappropriately) has determined that we might be steering you toward or away from an area based on information we deem acceptable, rather than what the clients deem acceptable.

This is a great area to live, we have great schools in MN, and lots of great shopping, entertainment and professional sports.

Yes, Steele is right about fair housing laws, we cannot discriminate based on family status, one way or the other due to Federal Fair Housing Laws.

There is a website that can tell you about certain offenders and you can always call the local police department or sheriffs office to get information about the area's safety.

According to the school website Shannon Park's Spring break for 2009 is from March 21 through March 29, 2009.
