If you send me info regarding the type of home you are looking for I would be happy to assist you with find a home to purchase. The easiest way to get this info to me is to fill out our "Buyer's Form on our website here: http://lvrealestatehelp.weebly.com/buying-real-estate.html

If you have specific address you are interested in you can read below to check recent crimes and school ratings in that area.

Please see the following links to check crimes that have occurred recently around addresses that you plug in.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police website covering Clark County and the City of Las Vegas, has a page where you can search crime statistics. We've included the link below.

For areas covered by N. Las Vegas police:

For the City of Henderson:

This is the link to the Clark County School District. Again, you can enter in the address you are interested in and it will pull up the schools zoned for that specific house. There are reports and ratings on each school, this will give you a better idea of how well that each school is performing. Once you enter the address, you can click on the school name, then click on the school website and on their front page look for the "Accountability Report". This will give you very detailed information on each school and how they are performing.

Http://www.lvmpd.com . Why do people keep asking these types of questions on a real estate website? I thought Trulia was supposed to be a website for Realtors to connect with consumers to purchase real estate , not answer random questions that real estate agents can't give the answers to. I mean seriously , as a consumer do you really believe that real estate agents know what the crime rate is in any given area ? Do you truly believe they should be the experts on crime and not real estate ? Don't you think that trained law enforcement should answer these questions? Why are you asking this on a real estate website and not on a law enforcement website? Next thing we know you'll be asking or medical and dental advice .really ?

I hope I never encounter a Realtor like you, you certainly are NOT a professional in either attitude or knowledge. To answer your snide question, YES, I expect a Realtor to know about the schools, crime rate, transportation issues, and lots of other things about the neighborhood of a home they are selling. But apparently all you think you need to know is how to cash a commission check you don't want to work very hard for. And by the way, I would also expect a true professional to know medical info as well, such as the nearest ER, so I guess you fail in all areas.

I've seen a couple of your answers like this, and as consumers people are just asking about a place they know nothing about. Some other nicer answers are much more helpful, and I would be much more inclined to contact them with my business than a person that is so harsh in such a people business. Maybe instead of answering online, you shouldn't answer at all. All they want is some information or info on where they can find it as others have given them, not harsh, snotty words from a broker that maybe should just calm down some. Why so sarcastic? No reason to lash out. Truly, as the saying goes...if you can't say something nice or helpful, then don't say anything at all.
