Please visit http://www.charmeck.org and select the "Public Safety" link at the bottom right of the page. Select "Community Crime Statistics" and then "Quick Search". The "Quick Search" link allows you to enter an address for statistics. This site also allows you to perform a crime mapping search which allows you to search a broader area.

All information you find is updated from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department's Monthly Report.

Best of luck.

Corey,

Your question is a commonly asked question by people basically unfamiliar with an area. Our advice is to be in touch with the local police department or county sheriffs department. They would have access to the most current and accurate informationavailable. They are generally very cooperative and willing to help out.

Good luck

The crime rate is average for a metro city, but Charlotte is largely a great place to live, work, and enjoy, this is why I expanded my business into Charlotte in 2007.

Corey,
You can look at zipskinny.com it will give you some crime stats and also Trulia has stats on areas also. Go to the Stats & Trends tab at the top and then chose your area. Then simply find the crime stats. But, if you are looking by zip code I would use zipskinny.com

Hope this helps
