Sandy, Hi have you found any homes? I was re-reading your question and I was wondering what is your price range? There are some very nice homes in the Irvington high school area and they are priced from 350,000 to around 500,000. If this is inyour range and you would like to see some homes from the area send me your E-mail address and I will do an MLS search for you to see how many in that area come up. feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need any help....Dawn

best advice is to contact you local sherifs office, they will be able to tell you in detail about the area you are looking in. Realtors can not give you those answers. It violates several laws and codes of ethincs. It is hare for us, because we truly know that areas best that we work in, but it is not our decision to determine an areas dymanics with regards to safety and a variety of other questions that we tend to get asked.

Actually a better area is Nothgate Fremont, not that Birds/Lake area, towards Decoto and Warwick. The school is warwick and API is around 875. I live in this area, and it is a good neighborhood. We are not near Ranch 99, we are near Beard and Whitehead so it is all residential, no rentals. Both Warwick and Thornton score 8 from greatschools so your toddler should be fine for at least a couple more years. Plus all ardenwood kids go the same middle school, maybe by then american high will have improve significantly.

Hi Sandy as far as I have heard that is a good nieghborhood. As for the schools While the elementary schols are Ardenwood or Warwick, the middle and high schools are Thornton Middle and American High. Scorewise American is second from the bottom in fremont. Last time I checked, the high schools rank as follows. First is Mission then Irvington, Washington, American and then Kennedy high......Hope this helps, if you have any other questions I can help you with feel free to contact me.....Dawn

Sandy:

If you are loooking to buy a home on Lowry Road in Fremont, it is actually in Fremont's Lakes and Birds area. Depending on which end of Lowry, the elementary school there will be Ardenwood or Warwick.
