Hi Hunter - real estate agents are prohibited by law from passing judgment on crime in any given area or neighborhood. All we can do is point you in the direction of good information sources. Trulia has a tool you can use to pull crime stats by zip code - the link is http://www.trulia.com/voices/q_Crime+Statistics+By+Zip+Code/. I always suggest to my clients that they drive through their targeted neighborhoods on different days and at different times, Stop and say hello to a neighbor. Neighbors are usually more than happy to "tell all". Best success!

The following link is to the Charlotte Mecklenburg crime map. It will show you the reported crimes within the time period you defined for a specific property.

Your best option is to contact the local police department and ask them...They will give an honest answer and they deal in the area all the time. Anything we tell you is subjective to our views and not necessarily what you may view as the same.
