Please see the following links to check crimes that have occurred recently.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police website covering Clark County and the City of Las Vegas, has a page where you can search crime statistics. We've included the link below.

For areas covered by N. Las Vegas police:…

For the City of Henderson:

This property is although very nice is not in Lake Las Vegas which is a master planned community on the east side of town in Henderson. I believe you are referring to The Lakes which is on the west side of Las Vegas. Although the names are similar the communities and areas are very different. Are you open to both areas or only one? The home you are asking about is available and we can help you schedule a showing if you would like. We have to make an appointment with the owner who lives in the property so please allow enough time/notice for us to do so for you.

Also, if you would like us to send you properties that match your buying criteria you can get started here:

Would this be a cash deal or finance deal?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Bobbie, Fair Housing Act doesn't allow real estate professionals to discuss crime statistics with the clients as it can lead to "steering customers to of from certain neighborhoods". You can find crime mapping information in Protect Yourself section of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department web site (

The area you've referenced above is being served by Enterprise Area Command, located at:

Enterprise Command
6975 W. Windmill Lane
Las Vegas, NV 89113
(702) 828-2843 and 828-2844

But CLOSEST LVMPD office is ONLY FEW BLOCKS AWAY - on Eldora Ave between S Cimarron Rd and S Durango Dr. They just built it a year or two ago. Let me know if you need help in the area. Good luck finding your dream home!!!!

Nice property! You obviously have great taste.... It's unusual to find such a large lot in Las Vegas due to the price of land. Checking out crime statistics is not that difficult, but I would be very surprised if this west side area has a significant issue. This is near Canyon Gate Country Club and The Lakes.... Both highly regarded areas.

Lake Las Vegas is approximately 35 miles away on the far east side of Las Vegas. This property is on the west side. By the way, we have a couple of very nice listings in Lake Las Vegas if that is truly the area you are interested in living.

Very nice property!
I would agree that you should contact local law enforcement about crimes etc. around a certain area... Law enforcement work these areas everyday and are very open and honest about what they see....

This property is not in Lake Las Vegas. For information on crimes in Henderson, check out the Henderson police department. For information about crimes in Las Vegas, check out the Las Vegas police department. They are two separate cities. Lake Las Vegas is in Henderson. The home you inquired about is in Las Vegas.

Hi Bobbie, this particular home is in a beautiful gated community located in the west side of Las Vegas. I am assuming you are asking about the crime in this area which is referred to as The Lakes. Lake Las Vegas is located in Henderson which is in the Southeast part of the Vegas area. I am attaching a crimeview link so you can enter any addresses of interest and see the last 60 days of any reported criminal activity.

If you would like any further assistance, I would be glad to help you in your home search. Feel free to call me anytime between the hours of 8am thru 10pm 7 days a week at 702-370-1072 or you can also reach me via email at I would love to help with your search and to help you secure the best deal on a new home.

As agents we are not allowed to "profile" different areas of town. All we can do is provide you with the Las Vegas crime statistics web site so you can draw your own conclusions.

It's pretty cool once you get used to how it works. To start, simply enter a property address at the top to search. When that specific property's area map opens, you can adjust the criteria by using the tabs above the map for crime types, dates, etc. The date will only go back for the past six months, but if you use the same criteria consistently it will give you a great idea of how much relative crime there is within a certain radius of a given address.

I like to search by zip codes myself. For the zip code of the property you asked about in The Lakes (which is on the west side of Las Vegas), you can plug in the address as "89017, Las Vegas, NV" and pull up everything within a mile radius. If you actually meant looking Lake Las Vegas (which is in Henderson on the east side of the Valley), you can plug in the address as "89011, Henderson, NV"

Then you can go to this site and search for homes by zip code:

Or use these links to specifically view properties in either the Lakes or Lake Las Vegas. - The Lakes - Lake Las Vegas

And last but not least, here is another link to the home you originally wrote your question from:…

If you have any other questions, just shoot us an email at We have been agents here more than 30 years, so we should have the answers. :)

By the way, said "lake las vegas" Did you mean Lake Las Vegas or The Lakes? They are two, very different areas...the link you attached to your question is right across the street from The Lakes...Rose works in Lake Las Vegas - clear on the other side of town - big difference...hope this helps....KL...

Hi, Bobbie:
I'm sure there is some "federal" law that says we are not allowed to say anything about that....probably we are supposed to direct you to a website that shows all that....however, I work with a great agent that LIVES and sells a LOT in Lake Las Vegas....she truly KNOWS Lake Las Vegas! She gives it to you straight and actually comes from L.A. Go to our company's website and look up Rose Falaco....If you can't get a hold of her - contact me and I will find her for you...Good Luck to You....KL....
