I simply went thttp://www.sanantonio.gov/sapd/indexcrime.asp?res=1366&ver=trueo the SAPD website.
I hope this helps,
We all want to feel safe, but unfortunately crime is basically everywhere. My husband is a San Antonio Police Officer, but having great neighbors are always a plus.

Good Luck to you

You can Google San Antonio crime and goverment sites for good free information. Course if or when you are ready a Realtor can provide you with Buyers Notice, in the packet contains a lot of good links to sites to find out all the information you could ever want to know about a neighborhood.

Good luck.

Just a bunch of websites you can check out:

Registered Sex Offenders - http://www.city-data.com/soz/soz-78221.html

http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/tx/san-antonio/crime/
http://www.spotcrime.com/tx/san+antonio
http://www.cityrating.com/citycrime.asp?city=San+Antonio&state=TX
http://www.sanantonio.gov/sapd/indexcrime.asp
http://www.idcide.com/citydata/tx/san-antonio.htm
http://www.sanantonio.gov/sapd/indexcrime.asp
http://www.sanantonio.gov/sapd/neighborhood.asp

But... as always... it is good to use a bit of common sense too... there really isnt ANYWHERE that has NO CRIME....

But... I hope that helps.

Best to contact the CRO at your local police department. They'll give you the stats and an honest opinion about what types of crimes are happening in the area.

Here is a link to the SAPD website. http://www.sanantonio.gov/sapd/indexcrime.asp The the best way is to search on here is by neighborhood and you can see all of the stats broken down.
