There are many sites on the Internet that will give you crime statistics. One you can try is: http://www.cityrating.com/crimestatistics.asp

Just click on the city of interest.

If you are concerned about crime--for accurate and up to the minute information do contact/visit the local department--ask all your questions and hear all there is to hear firsthand.

Crime stats are available at the city/county websites whereever you are looking. There you will find out all about potential neighborhoods to live in (or not).

Good luck.
