I recommend going online to the registered sex offenders site. There will be a heat map with registered offenders near you

Hi Angie,

Check Metros web site. They have a ink where all sex offenders must register. Keep in mind not all of them register.

As such there are other measures you can take when looking for a home to buy and or rent.

In most places the law prevents sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of a school and 1,000 feet of a playground. This is in addition to having to register.

Nothing is 100% certain but its one more tool in your bag to keep your children safe.

Let me know if I can be of any future assistance.

You can check specifically for sex offenders at http://www.nvsexoffenders.gov . If you want to know crime in general, I recommend crimemapping.com . Keep in mind there is no crime free part of any city.
