There's no link for the house you are inquiring about. However, the seller and agent for the seller are not required to disclose that type of information. You do as a buyer however, have the right to ask the agent. The agent in turn can ask the seller and it is up to the seller to answer the question or not. If the crime was not committed in the house you are inquiring about, then the seller would not necessarily have any first hand knowledge about it.

Its best to check with the local police for any criminal activity in the area that you are searching for a home.

A man was stabbed and murdered at this very building in 1986. The Yonkers Police are reported to have covered up the crime.

Consult your attorney. I am not an attorney, therefore I will give my opinon. State lawmakers enacted the NYS Property Condition Disclosure Act (NYS PCDA) in 2002. If a house has a stigmatization such as a murder nearby, sellers and/or their realtors are not required to disclose such. They are responsible to disclose material or latent defects in the home, if they have knowledge of such. Sellers are required to give buyers a mandated disclosure report and the law allows them to instead provide the buyer with a $500 credit at closing.

The adage of caveat emptor, or buyer beware, should apply.
