I would contact the Miramar police for crime stats in that area or google "police blotter" for that zip code. Or, there are some websites that will give you that info...try "great neighborhoods", etc.

Sense of safety is one of those trigger issues that is based on one's background. What might feel safe to one person, might not, to another. Stats will give you a truer picture.

I'm a mother, too. I am extremely cautious w my kids, but then, they go around partying at 4am, in bad neighborhoods, while they're away at we can't control everything.

Let me know if I can be of further service.

Hello I would recommend contacting the local police department to get statistics within the area. As being a resident of this area, I feel safe in this area, but some research with the local police department should eas your fears.

If you need anymore guidance please feel free to contact me

Real estate agents are forbidden by Florida Real Estate Law to answer that question directly. You need to search Broward County for such statistics. If you start there you will find information on various zip codes. Good luck!
