Longleaf is a multi-builder community now under the direction of the corporation that developed Celebration for Disney in Orlando. A quaint, front porch community, it has an A+ rated elementary school within the community, a day care and plans for additional low-traffic convenience retail/professional. Just off St. Rt. 54 and Little Rd., it is in the heart of all that is new and great about the Trinity area of New Port Richey. Less than 1/2 mile east off St. Rt. 54, Fox Wood is another nice and newer community that is a bit more affordable ( largely because of the absence of P.U.D. fees) and also within walking distance of a new and A+ rated elementary school.

New Port Richey and its surrounding areas offer a very diverse selection of lifestyles, costs, benefits, and drawbacks. The only way your question can be answered is with specific information about what your goals and objectives are. What is most important to you - the price, the schools, being on the water, being off the water? There are too many variables. Maria, there are several new communities in New Port Richey to choose from. They have various amenities that may appeal to your family such as pools, playgrounds, etc. Some are in close proximity to local schools. I don't know what ages your children are but I would be happy to send you information on these communities. The price range varies as well so it would be helpful to know your criteria.
Did you know that a professional realtor can sell new homes and many times we get information direct from the builder on specials they may be offering? Such as homes that are built that perhaps did not close or incentives to purchase existing inventory, etc.
Please feel free to email me with any questions.
