Springdale is a popular choice for many folks. I have helped many individuals and families move into that area. There is a train station that is popular for people doing the commute into the city, several shopping areas, movie theater, and parks. Not to mentioned you are close to merrit and 95. I feel safe there and would recommend going at different times to get a flair and more insight into the area. In general to learn more about an area just visit at differnt times of the day, and week to get more of a feel

kind regards

Springdale is generally a very safe area. I have sold & rented a number of people in the area over the years who have enjoyed living there. It has a small village atmosphere with some nice restaurants, movie theatre, health club and convenience to RR. With regards to Highview Ave, there are mostly 2-3 family homes mixed with condos & some older single family homes. Parking is allowed on the street for visitors. I am exclusive managing agent for 33 townhouses in the Springdale area and everyone has always enjoyed living there.
I would say it is a safe area for the most part, but if you have any concerns you can always call the police dept.

I have lived on Bouton Street East for 7and 1/2 years and have found it to be a quiet and safe area of Springdale. True Highview Ave is crowded as is Columbus Place but I would recommend it to my friends and clients.

Springdale is safe. Highview Ave may not be the prettiest street in Springdale but I have never heard anything bad about it. I live nearby and jog on Highview regularly. People walk their dogs, walk to train, shopping, skating rink & gym. Springdale is nice, over the years traffic has increased dramatically as housing development goes up. Close to train and direct trips to NYC have doubled home prices in Springdale in last 7 years.

Stamford is committed to fostering a safe, welcoming & exciting community. Springdale is a metro-area w/suburbun appeal. They have many programs and services geared towards providing youth with activities and educational opportunites. Highview Avenue is near Hope Street where several of the areas public & magnet schools are located. This year the Mayor provided additional funding to this area through the Mayor's Empowerment Grant Program.

The Springdale area has several golf & country clubs which makes this a prime location for those looking to reside in the area. Median home prices range from $470,000-$515,000. Transportation optons include Metro North. Minutes away from Downtown Stamford, which has some of the best shopping & reataurants in the state, also in close proximity are several local beaches & parks & recreation activities.
