Good morning, Mimi:
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department crime mapping website probably has the most detailed info If you are in Charlotte, you can call 311 and ask for police non-emergency, then talk to the officer who patrols this area. They'll give you a good insight into the area. We know a few people who live in this area. If you have a full time agent with a Masters degree in Planning with Finance and over two decades of experience, working for you, you will likely do better in negotiations. I'd be pleased to provide that service. If you appreciate this answer, please give it a thumbs up, or if this was the most helpful answer, please say thanks with a best answer click.

Hi Mimi,

I clicked on the property link above and the home is not in Seven Eagles. It is actually in Cameron Woods subdivision. This is not a gated community so you can ride through the neighbohood on your own if you desire.

Again, check the sites that other agents have posted to check for crime.

If I can be of any help to you in your search, please don't hesitate to contact me.

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Hi Mimi - Realtors are prohibited from discussing crime statistics per Federal Fair Housing Laws. You can find the information you are looking for by going on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police's crime mapping website… You can also go on Trulia's area crime info, but it is not as up-to-date as the Police Department's. Normally, I would tell you to drive through the neighborhood, get out and chat with the neighbors. However, Seven Eagle is gated and has private security, so, unless you are with either a Realtor or someone sho lives in the neighborhood, you will not be able to gain access. Good luck with your search!

Hi Mimi!

The property you're inquiring on is in a great neighborhood! Realtors are not allowed to disclose demographics or crime, but you can research this using Trulia's crime maps -

Also, email me directly if you're interested in setting up a time to see this property or any other. I work with buyers and help negotiate pricing for you and it doesn't cost you anything extra when buying to use me!
