If you can qualify for a second mortgage, then I don't see why not?! That means you'll have to have downpayment $$ for the new place and be able to pay for both mortgages, in case you aren't able to rent it. The lender may even want you to show you have XX months of reserves in the bank. Only way to know for sure is to talk to a lender and discuss everything. ... more
