I went through a bankruptcy a couple of years ago and did not re-affirm the 1st or 2nd mortgage. I purchased a new home now I can no longer afford the payments on the old house.

The facts about a property are not that difficult for the average layman to find out. A little leg work on your own never hurt anyone. When in doubt, check it out.

I suggest that if the facts prove that a seller / realtor is distorting information for their own intended gain, then by all means, use this forum and any other you deem appropriate, to make the truth public, accompanied by the supporting documentation.

Good luck

I believe it is. I'm scheduling a walk through this week and saw the for sale sign in the front. It looks pretty nice and the neighbors are sweethearts.

The tax records are a good starting point after a property has closed. If the MLS was used to advertise the property it can be researched to see who was the agent/agency. Call me with particulars. I am familiar with the Crestview market.

Have you shopped for a construction loan lately? They a not only very rare, they’re a massive pain and the terms are not as good as on a purchase of an existing home.

With a glutton of homes on the market and rates at all-time lows, don’t you think you could find an awesome deal on a re-sale or foreclosure?

Qualified buyers can get a jumbo loan at a 90% LTV on a $630k loan amount or 95% LTV with NO PMI on a $417k loan amount!

Sharon out of the areas of Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Navarre and Crestview, I found 17 properties with a home that's at least 1700 sqft and at least 3 acres under $350k. (and most were under $300k). I think one actually had 25 acres on it. A few may bit a bit of a drive, so if you are still Active Duty, (going from the USAA prequal) you may want to consider which base you will be, to determine what kind of drive you might want to make daily. You can take a look here: The following are the links to the selected listings.
