Jeff is right on. The only way I know is to go direct to each agency. They should give you one free one each year. Equifax, Expierian, and Transunion. Good luck

Dear Pain:

Yes, you can contact each agency independently.

Or, http://www.AnnualCreditReport.com is free but not with the credit scores just the data.

There are several ways to go about it depending on what you want it for. If you are looking to buy a home, the easiest way is to go through a mortgage lender. I prefer independents and have them run all three for you. You can go to Mycreditscore.com or myannualcreditreport.com and get them but you need to go through all the "crap" to get complete reports. Another way is to contact the credit bureaus direct and you may get one report a year for free and not go through a lot of "crap". I can give you several lenders to choose from. Let me know if I can help you further.

Hi,

You can go to myfreeannualcreditreport.com which is a government sponsored site to obtain two of the three reports for free once a year.

Link below for how you can get free credit report, without having to pay or sign up. They do not show you the score, but you can see what you need to work on and etc.

Another option would be to talk to a local lender, get pre-approved. There should be no cost nor obligation for this, and if they pull your credit can walk you thru it, show you what to work on or what you are pre-approved for.

Best of luck
