There is nothing that a credit repair company can do that someone can't do for their own credit. At least 1 out of 10 clients of mine need some sort of credit repair, and I do it for them as part of being a loan officer.

The best thing you can do is introduce your clients to a loan officer who not only can get their loan closed but also help them restore their credit and prepare them to be in a situation were they can get a mortgage.

Good luck!

I would not spend the money for a credit repair company, you can do it yourself. Get a secured credit card and start rebuilding your credit on your own.

Beware of anyone offering to "repair" your credit! The Federal Trade Commission issued a stern warning last year that such offers are scams. Find more from the FTC HERE. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre13.shtm

The best way to buy a home is to have a decent credit history combined with sufficient Income and Assets for a home purchase.

The best way to have a decent credit history is to settle negative outstanding obligations and pay all your bills on time for at least two years.

There are a lot of bogus operations out their that prey on the consumer. If someone needs repair help, they should extensively search for verifiable services.
