Foreclosures can be great opportunities. However, make sure you are working with an agent who is highly experienced in them and more importantly has experience in listing them. There are entirely different dynamics, rules, and customs in dealing with the banks than traditional transactions and helps to be prepared. Most important of all they are not particularly fun or "warm and fuzzy" transactions. So be prepared for that. They are strictly business deals for the bank, and despite what you may think, the banks don;t car very much about selling any particular house, they know they;ll all sell eventually.
