If you are looking at a property offered to rent it is best to call the person or property managent company directly in order to get more information because residential Realtors, for the most part, deal only in homes offered for sale and are less likely to have information about specific rental properties. Craigslist is also a good resource for finding rental properties. If you feel secure in your job and are planning to stay in the area for 5+ years, purchasing a home may be a good alternative to renting because low interest rates and prices make purchasing, in many cases, more affordable than rent.
