Google Maps is a good tool for this. I put the address in and then clicked on Directions, and put Charlotte School of Law. The results of my search are linked below. It's a little over 11 miles or about 23 minutes depending on traffic. ... more

Hi Wael!

This property looks like there is an Offer but it is Contingent on the Buyers Selling.

The property has a good location with a short proximity to Uptown (restaurants, entertainment, etc), short drive to Mount Holly Huntersville road to the grocery store and short drive to Northlake Shopping Mall. Several main highways in the Area so you should be able to commute very easily.

If you do not have a Buyer's Agent, please contact me. I would love to help you in your purchase!

I've been here six years and haven't seen a snake. Spiders are common everywhere. This isn't near a major body of water which tends to increase spiders. I haven't noticed a problem with them. The residents here seem to be from all over, but the older residents have been here since the 60s. Nice community. ... more

As Realtors we are nto allowed to steer anyone toward a particular neighborhood or house or direct them away from an area under Fair Housing laws.

What I can tell you is that this house is centrally located in the Northwest corner of Charlotte with easy access to 85, 485 and 77. If you are concnerned about the safety of the neighborhood; I would recoomend a few things.

One would be to drive through the neighborhood on a weekend or after school gets out and look for soemoen outside and ask them to tell you their thoughts on the neighborhood. There is no better person to give you an asnwer fo the area than one who is living there. I would recommend trying to talk to more than one person becuase opinions can differ.

Second, go to the Charlotte mecklenburg police website ( and on the top toolbar click on for your safety and then crime mapping. Put in the address and it will give you the crimes in that area and the homes they occured at.

I have found that these have helped people who have not knwo the area tremndously in making a descsion to move somewhere or not.

As Realtors we are nto allowed to steer anyone toward or away from a particular neighborhood. As part of our code of ethics it si illegal for us to do that. I always get asked this question from buyers. A couple fo suggestions I recommend to every buyer is to go to the Charlotte Police Department page and type in the address and/or the neighborhood. You can get the crime statiistics from there.
This should give you some good unbiased information of the neighborhood.

Another avenue I recommend is to drive through the neighborhood and stop and talk to a neighbor you see outside. They do nto have nay vested interest in whether you buy or do not buy a aprticular house. They will generally give you an honest answer as to the neighborhood and what it is like to live in there.

I hope this hleps you out and wish I could provide you with more information....

I live here near Coulwood Middle School. I've been here six years. This is a very safe area. You can look at the crime stats on Trulia.
