Well it's technically not in Cotuit, but I like to go to the Barnstable County Fair to see all the exhibits, and the crafters. Also the Seaside Festival in the fall in Yarmouth is my favorite. The fireworks are the best they offer all year long! ... more

Hello S- I guess I'm confused as well regarding what you're asking. Are you trying to have a new home built for you? Trying to see if you can get some contractor bids lower? If that's the case, Yes- most contractors are looking for work and will do stuff at close to cost just to keep busy and the truck on the road.
BUT- beware of any sub or other contractor that is 50%-70% of everyone else. Something is wrong there- most likely they are not carrying all the necessary workmens compensation insurance, etc, etc. You have to verify all that stuff. That is how most contractors cut their bids. That, and lower quality workmanship or materials.
There's no magic...
