All property owners in the Padre Isles development are members of the the Padre Isles Property Owners Association (POA) When you buy a property in the Padre Isles community then the previous owner transfers their membership to you.(there is a $100 transfer fee) You will receive a Resale Certificate that shows your Homeowner dues (billed annually) and if there are any past due amounts owned and other pertinent information. You will also receive a copy of their balance sheet, insurance and the Bylaws and Declartion that pertain to your property and the PIPOA. For new owners of waterfront lots or homes, your dues are asssesed at .10 per square fot of land area. For 'dry' lots or homes on dry lots, your dues are assessed at .02 per sqaure foot of land area. If you own a condo or townhome, then that Homeowners Association also pays dues and is a member of the Padre Isles Property Owner's Association. Owners may go to the PIPOA office to purchase stickers to display on their vehicles for use of the boat ramps.
