I live in concord near concord pavilion. Can advise of high rate if residential robberies and fact that all robberies are not included in Concord PD weekly report for the reason that those robberies are still under investigation. As a victim, whose residential robbery was left off of the weekly report I can say that I don't believe that reason. In fact, that same week, our home was robbed on a Wednesday, on the same Saturday, an alarm salesman had a report with every robbery that week. At least his report had my robbery - I looked at it. That said, I know that the reports therefore the statistics are low and scewed. My office, in downtown concord was also robbed two years later, and it was also missing from the weekly report. I have become very vocal on a local website and find many residential robberies routinely missing. Further, the City Council and the Mayor of Concord has maintained there is no crime problem on Concord (aka Conquered). There is a large Naval Weapons Station that is being converted into public use be this same band of politicians. Further there is no constitution for the city to compel council to listen to citizens. Hence a debacle between citizenry and the politicians, who want nothing but development - we are not left to wondering why. We are now left with finding the political acumen to be heard Snd directing resources to crime fighting, we have gangs. You can't use Concord Bart and trust your car )even if you pay to park) or your person, will be safe. It is not. Reconsider your purchase. The areas you are looking into is dangerous. ... more

Realtors, by law and ethics, are not allowed to answer this question. I encourage you to study crime maps and statistics, ad visit the various neighborhoods you are interested in. You can also visit different police stations and ask them about the relative safety of a given neighborhood. Best of luck. ... more

The Antioch/Pittsburg can be very sketchy.
Concord has mico climates. There are a lot of nice (safe) neighborhoods, but a few sketchy ones as well.

Hi Carolyn,
This property was foreclosed on by Bank of New York January 23, 2012 and there is no indication if/when it will be on the market. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath, 925 sq ft. Recent sales in the complex are $100,000 - $150,000 depending on condition. There are currently 5 units listed in the complex, all pending. As suggested, work with a Realtor so you can receive automatic updates every time a property with your interest becomes Active, Back on the Market or Price Changed.
Good luck,

A good resource to go to is to check out a specific address. You can set th date range and it will inform you of all activity in a certain radius as well. You can always call the local police department to get their opinion on the area as well. I took a client to that home yesterday and it is in a well-established area.

Let me know if you would like any additional information.
