I have had that problem as well. finding a realtor that has experience with clients with section 8 may help. You can also check in with your caseworker at your section 8 office to see if any landlords have contacted them to let them know that they have vacant apts. There should also be a housing resource website for whatever state that you reside in. Most of the apartments have waiting list but filling out an application and being placed on the waiting list is still much better than doing nothing at all. Try Craigslist you may find a Jem, but never ever send anyone any money/ deposits for anything online until your caseworker from the section 8 office inspects the apartment and tells you that you can move in.
