That's unusual as the market is still pretty "hot" all up and down the front range of Colorado. I'm curious what makes you say the market "stopped on its heels"? Where did you get this info? The Springs might be a little bit different than Denver metro, but inventory is so low all over Colorado, I would think you could still sell this fall. Maybe you should re-think the whole FSBO thing? ... more

Greg, are you asking yourself a question? :-) If it's anything like Denver metro, I'm sure it's a pretty hot seller's market!

What & who are you referring to? There was no link or property address associated with your question. Also -- FYI -- Trulia is not a real estate company. Whatever you were looking at is listed with a Realtor. If you're interested in buying real estate, I suggest you contact a local REALTOR you can help you. Besides, most of the listings on here are outdated anyway. Good luck! ... more

If you want to get more info about that area you can call the Colorado Springs Police Dept. and they should be able to direct you.

Hi,

You can still get insurance on a home with t-locks, but it is going to cost you more. I have several contacts that can write a policy on this type of home. I also strongly recommend that you have a roof inspection done along with your home inspection, if purchasing. Please let me know if I can help.

Thanks - Christy

The map on this property is wrong. If you look up Kurie Road, its in Black Forest.

Sally Grenier answered:
This is definitely a typo. Not sure why it's showing up here as $45K. It's listed in the MLS for $465K (and has been since October 2013!) It's also under contract.

If you are considering buying, you should seriously considering finding a local REALTOR to work for you as a Buyer's Agent. He/she will have access to your local MLS, and can send you the most up to date listings that fit your search criteria.

Good luck!

Sally Grenier answered:
William, this is an AUCTION listing. Bidding starts at $100k. Pay no attention to agents from out of state who can't verify the details of a listing here in CO.

I suggest you find a good Realtor to represent you as a Buyers Agent. He/she will be able to create a search for you in the MLS. The listings you see here or on Zillow or other sites aren't necessarily up to date. ... more

FYI - This is a public record, and unfortunately the information there isn't always correct. Are you the home owner?? Why is this listing of a concern to you? In addition, Trulia uses Google maps, so it's really not an issue with Trulia OR any agent. Google maps isn't 100% accurate, especially in newer developments. ... more

Barbara,

Colorado Springs has many celebrations that center around arts and crafts from local artists and out of state ones Every national holiday most the parks host a festival of some sorts. We also have quite a few areas that sponsor store fronts from the Old Colorado City area to the newer Briargate Shoppes Plaza.

I do hope this information was helpful, if you need more details please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Have a wonderful day,

Renee

Greetings

This property is located in what was the Voluntary Evacuation zone and was not in the Mandatory or Pre-Evacuation Areas. The fire initially started to the north of where this property is located and the area this property is in is not included in the initial damage assessments. From the available information this property is not believed to be in the burn area.

The current evacuation map can be seen at http://gazette.com/black-forest-fire-evacuation-map/article/1502207

You can find more information on initial property damage assessments at http://rsg.epcsheriff.com/

I hope this information is helpful
