A screen enclosure has many benefits. It keeps out leaves and other exterior debris from getting into the pool, resulting in additional pool maintenance. It also keeps out animals from enjoying a swim with you. I would say that it enhances the appeal of sitting outdoors while reading a book because you can enjoy the outdoors and sunshine, while avoiding bugs flying around your face. ... more

Good morning!

As mentioned by others, there are communities that are similar to Longshore Lake. There are some that match the "feel" of the community as you're driving through it, others that match the amenities that it includes, and a handful that match both.

My question to you is, what is the feature that draws you most to Longshore Lake, and how important is it that the other communities be in the same part of Naples? That will help to whittle down your options to the ones that match your needs the best.

My husband and I have been working as a team for 11 years and we're very knowledgeable about the Naples market. So, please don't hesitate to contact either one of us, if you'd like to get more specific information than you can sometimes get on these boards.

Enjoy your day!

Hi Northbynw,

Clearly not all agents are created equal and I am sorry to hear you are dealing with one who is not upholding the professional standards of our profession. Is this the agent who has your home listed? If not, then ask your listing agent to give him/her a call and find out what's going on. If your listing agent doesn't get anywhere with the agent by talking to him directly then your listing agent should talk directly to that agent's broker. If the person who went into your house is your listing agent then call their broker immediately and report the violation.

I love it! Been living here for 7 years now. Where I am, there's no crime that I've ever seen, it's quiet, secluded, away from civilization. You can get your plot of land and have a garden, horses, chickens, etc.

It's not too terribly far away from the main part of Naples, but I will tell you this:

For the most part, there's not much but houses East of 951. So, you have to be willing to drive. Nothing is within walking distance.

If you can get past that hurdle, you'll love it here.

I have lived in Naples since 1989 and for the last 10 years younger families are moving to our area. I had one child attend Collier County Public Schools and was very pleased with the quality of education. Naples offer private schools too. Naples has all age groups. For those who are retired, some live here during the winter and we call them "snow birds" We have built many schools in the last 10 years because of our population growth that include children. We will continue to build new schools as our population grows in the coming years. Collier County Parks and Recreation, Scouting, YMCA, Churches all contribute to the development of children in Naples. Visit my website at or ... more

Naples is rather a divers community because people all over the world come to visit and move to our area not only for our wonderful weather, but for the lifestyle and all of the things Naples has to offer including the Arts. Philharmonic Center for the Arts long established in this area with big names, Sugden Theatre on 5th Avenue, Alico Arena in Estero, a short drive up I-75 20-25 minutes and several art galleries. You won't be disappointed with what you see in Naples. Come see for yourself why people visit here find a job and never leave. If you need further information, please feel free to contact me. You should contact your HOA association about this. They specify what is included in your HOA dues. If you are considering selling your unit, there is a state law in Florida where there is a form that the HOA has to fill out for you and the buyer, saying what is included in the fees or not.

If you do not have an attorney or an agent, then I would suggest getting one - as they will know what to do. If you are just curious - contact your HOA.
