I would recommend calling friends and family in that same area. Everyone has had to call a pest control company before and, the odds are, if they are living in your area they have probably dealt with or are dealing with the same pests you area. I would try calling them and seeing who they hired to help get rid of their problem. They should have the best suggestions for you around your area. I would recommend calling them as soon as you can! http://onstarpestcontrol.com ... more

Mark there is a new program that has come into the DFW market area and it is a Lease with Right To Buy. With this new investor the number of homes available for this type of purchase plan has just exploded giving you lots of options.

Basically you find the home, investor buys home, you rent home, you purchase the home up to 3 years later when your credit is ready at a price agreed to up front, or you don't buy and its just a lease.

If this might work for you then please give me a call.

Best of luck in your home search ... Bruce

The market is very bare right now if you are thinking of listing your home now is a great time. Multiple offers and buyers trying to out bid each other for your home when you have the right agent marketing can be a blessing. I am happy to help and exceed your expectations.

HI Bhawna!

Colleyville is a great location with exemplary schools. There are always good deals you just have to be ready to move on them when one arises. This takes an aggressive agent that knows the market and the area. I work in Colleyville and would love the opportunity to help you with your home search.

Please give me call 214-893-6624 to discuss the specifics of your home search!

My best,

Trevor Curran, Real Estate Pro in Great Neck, NY
Fri May 3, 2013
Trevor Curran answered:
Good evening Dennis,

I've been helping First Time Buyers for 23 years as a mortgage professional and I will tell you what I have always told my clients here in New York: If you are a First Time Buyer, steer clear of foreclosures and short sales.

Foreclosures are someone else's headache. The home probably has not been well-maintained and you're a First Time Buyer adjusting to paying a mortgage. Do you really want to walk in the door to someone else's deferred maintenance that YOU will have to pay for? Also, if you're thinking there are deals to be had in terms of lower prices, mostly those "deals" go to professional investors who can pay cash, negotiate hard with a Lender, and close fast.

For Short Sales, my attitude of late is that First Time Buyers should steer clear. Short Sales tend to be a better deal for the homeowner than for the Buyer. You'll wait MONTHS for the homeowner's Lender to approve the short sale; maybe as long as Six or Seven Months. Meanwhile, you're stuck in a contract to buy that home. I closed a short sale recently with a Buyer who, after seven months said this at the closing table, "I don't even want this house anymore."

And he didn't even get the "deal" on price he thought he was getting! The house appraised for only slightly more than he paid for it at the short sale price. He walked into this deal thinking he was buying a home for $100,000 less than it's value. In the end that wasn't the case.

There are plenty of motivated Sellers with their homes listed on your local MLS. Go find a good Local Mortgage Banker, get prequalified, then find a great, experienced Realtor, and buy the home you want at the price you're willing to pay.

Professional code of ethics a Realtor can't make any comments.

Best to communicate with your buyers agent who can pull history of homes in these areas.

In some instances where the towers in in backyard "so to speak " many potential buyers "shy away" from a purchase.
