None. I wouldn't worry about it at all. It's rare for a realtor or an agent to take into account closings of firehouses when doing a market analysis on a home. The only time something like that would be of concern would be if you were located literally next to it or perhaps across from it, but even then the change would be minimal. ... more

Your have your work cut out for you. Mixed use will reqire a careful study of the ROI. Do you intent ot use one of the units? will you live there? Parking? Insurance can be a problem with mixed use as well, depending on the use. For example, a pizza oven under residential is a problem.

I suggest you get in independent Appraisal.(not a BPO, Broker's Price Opinion) It will be worth it.

The market in Clifton seems to have evened out. The prices right now are lower then they have been in about 8 years and the slide seems to have stopped. I have lived in Clifton for the past 25 years and thnk its a great town to live in. Prices at this time, depending on the area of the city your are looking at range from the low 200's to the 750 range. ... more
