I find it quite interesting that all the "positive" answers come from realtors...How amazing! I have lived in Lakewood my whole life and I can honestly say that I agree with what John answered in his post. The sad fact is, Lakewood has "gone down the hill" from the way things were years ago. Partly due to all the taverns that have popped up all over and the landlords that don't care anymore who they rent to! I live on the "Western" end, close to the Rocky River border, and things are getting worse over here too. Maybe not "as bad" as the eastern end of Lakewood, but still not as nice as in the past. ... more

It really all depends on which part of West Blvd. I love the end in Cleveland/ Lakewood border. The houses are huge with giant yards. But, it is a main road with lots of heavy traffic. I would live on most of West Blvd but I like a crowded louder neighborhood. ... more
