You can contact a realtor in the area and work with them to get your application ready and proceed with looking for a home within your budget. I would be happy to help you with that. ... more

Texas Home Girl answered:
The answer to this question would depend solely on the mobile home and classification. If the mobile home is personal property and has a title or statement of ownership and location then it is not real property and therefore is not attached to the land. If the owner of the personal property is not in any lien default then at worst she may be required to move the mobile home if the land is foreclosed on. I do mobile home title work and if you need to find out any information then you should contact T.D.H.C.A. (manufactured housing division) in Austin Texas. Your friend will have a S.O.L. This will state whether the home has been elected as personal property or as real property attached to the land. If the mobile home is in the daughters name and she is in default on that entity then foreclosure procedures could apply. ... more
