No reason to be afraid.
The best way to find the answer for a loan best suited to your credit and income is to speak with a lender. They will tell you what is necessary and address any concerns you may have. 630 isn't a terrible score, so call someone for further information.
The "Find an Agent" tab at the top of the page also includes lenders. You can use it to get started.

Good luck!

Curious to know if the recommended realtor was of help. I am relocating to Clearwater and contacted a realtor via email who advertised they assist at finding rentals with no fee. They did not contact me back. I assumed they must get kick back from apartment - I wouldn't expect that service for free - but no response was disappointing. It was not the realtor suggested here. ... more

I would recommend you check out The Lenders Network, they have lenders that work with scores under a 600 you may not need credit repair, check with them before you go down that road.. .

Good luck!

Hello debbie,
When are thinking about moving? As you may not be aware the market here is spiking again. So what you are looking into on Grove St may not be available when you decide to move or even at the same price if you decide to move here during our peak season. We are a seasonal city. SOOOOOOOOO with this being said when you make up your mind to move it is best to call a realtor before you look through all the charming pictures.
The location on Grove street where you are able to look and see the demographic for yourself is on the City of Clearwater web site for just this type of question.
Thanks for asking.

Good afternoon.

I responded to your initial inquiry on 2-6-2011.

That source of information is still valid.

It is illegal for any real estate agent to 'steer' people away from or to certain neighborhoods. To do so can result in loss of their license and source of income.

You are aware that a Realtor working with you the buyer is generally paid not by you but by sharing the commission the seller pays the listing agent? The listing broker shares the total commission with the selling broker. I hate to use the word 'free' but.....

Sounds like you are at a point where you need the assistance of a good buyer's agent to guide you along the path toward home ownership,.......one who can help you not make wrong turns.

For example, your Realtor can help protect you from doing a lease option with someone who doesn't even own the home, or with someone in foreclosure, etc.

Let me know when you'd like to get started.

Regards, Bob

Paula Bean answered:
there are government tax foreclosures EVERYWHERE right now... my questio to you would be do you want to buy one to live in, or as an investment?

Most people don't know that these are not always the best deal. You have to buy them 'as is'.... and yyou have to spend money up front for home inspection, termite, radon, etc, and hope that the repairs don't exceed the value.

Sometimes a regular property on the market is a better deal. If you are looking in Clearwater, I can recomend a great agent for you to work with there. I would not take on this task alone if I were you...
