Catherine Myers answered:
Unfortunately as far as I know, Trulia only uses the sales that are released to them through the MLS. Its not foolproof. They don't get "clean" data and/ or sometimes agents don't release their feed to the internet portals. Any number of things. But if I were to advise a consumer, I would say don't rely 100% on the third party aggregators, and instead check in with a local Realtor for active market stats , comparables and activity. ... more

Davis,
This property sold a year ago. It closed on January 14, 2010. It was listed for $475,000 and it sold for $507,000. This shows how much the market has declined. In today';s market it woulod probably sell for $400,000 to $450,000. Did it still show as active on this site? Anymore questions? Lynne French Lynne@LynneFrench.com. ... more

Jose,
There are no active listing under this address or MLS number and it doesn't look like it sold recently either. If you are looking to buy I would have a Realtor help you as they will have the most up to date listings in the areas you're looking. Sometimes websites don't have the most accurate data. You are also welcome to use our search engine which will send you updates as properties come on the market, no obligation. Happy to help!
Best,
Erica

It runs East basically. Sometimes it runs South East. It is a long road and it does wind. It gooies through Clayton, Antioch and Brentwood.

Just remember the prices you see as a foreclosure on Trulia do not reflect real market pricing. That house will be in the 500-650k range most likely ... there are other foreclosures coming on the market in the coming months in Clayton too. ... more

Marston Myers answered:
Dear Home Buyer - Just Looking,

If you are at all serious about actually finding a home BEFORE it is already sold, you should interview and select a Realtor to work with and FOR YOU. Your agent will be able to send you, or cause to have sent to you in real time updates to the market, new bank owned properties and all other homes that meet your specified criteria. Flopping around on the internet "willy-nilly" and then asking questions your agent would have already told you is not an efficient way to search for a home. The internet is the perfect place for you to do research but you agent should be giving you real time data on available properties.

In case you were unaware, working with an Professional Realtor as a Buyer does not usually cost you anything but your focus and a drop or two of loyalty.

Best of luck!
