Too little information for anyone to give you an answer.......factoring into the answer will be... your income, debt ratio, down payment, credit scores, etc.

I suggest you speak with a loan officer and get a definitive response.....also if you're told you can buy now - before signing on the dotted line - make sure you discuss this with your matrimonial attorney first.

It is unlikeley but there are other types of mortgages. your first step should be to meet with a local and trusted loan officer who can prequailify you looking at your credit and financials and see what you may quailify for.

Banks do not rent their homes, they are looking to sell them to clear their books. You may find rentals by checking with local listing agents whose sellers have not sold and may need to move right away. The problem is the amount of rentals is real low right now. ... more
