I can show you projects that would amaze you and I would bet you a dinner anywhere you want to go that you would not be able to discern the difference between a site vs a Factory Built structure.
One of the reasons I'm so pro Factory Built Housing is because of the turn around time and they can be as much as 25% less expensive. But the real beauty is while you're doing the demo, the site work and updating the infrastructure the home is being assembled in an indoor and protected environment at the same time. In most cases the home is done before the site is ready.
You won't have to worry about tying up a lot of contractors for an extended period of time. Nor would you have to be worried about material pilferage and exposure to weather. But most importantly you won't be tied up with a lot of inspections.
Other than your demolition, foundation, utility upgrades and final no other inspections are required as the home is completely inspected during all phases of construction by an independent HUD inspector right in the factory.
Additionally, the factory will be your free architect and engineer. They will work with you throughout the entire design stage and allow you to choose any/all upgrades, appliances, wall and floor coverings, etc. at no charge. You can also select your exterior finish i.e. siding type, stucco, cement board, wood and you can even do a tile roof.
But on the other hand should you desire a site built home we would be very happy to work on that with you as well. As a licensed general contractor we can work with you on all phases of the project from demolition to final inspection. We would personally handle the A & E, permitting, construction and inspections for the entire project.
