The "HomeStyle" renovation loan is a CONVentional loan. As with some of the previous posts, the renovation is completed with a certified GC, general contractor. Please know that the HomeStyle renovation loan can be used for a primary residence or an investment property transaction. It has its pros+ cons.

The FHA 203K is similar however it also has its pros + cons, as with anything and is ONLY for primary residence transactions.

Call me if you need to discuss this further to determine which one you really need for your needs.

Hi Nancy,

Unfortunately these types of scams are common on many rental websites - and yes, this does sound like a scam.

Please access the link below to read our PSA about rental scams to be sure that you can spot the red flags in the future. And if you do suspect that a listing on our site is a scam, please use the 'Report error' button on the property page to alert our team about it.

Thank you,

Hi Brenda,

I was able to duplicate this error and I've alerted our engineers about the problem. If your Trulia profile is already connected to your Facebook account, you shouldn't be prompted to create another account. I hope to have an update on this matter soon.

Thanks Emily. I see in the app itself there is a "submit feedback" button which I have used to send in change requests and feature suggestions. What I don't like about that though, is it feels like the request goes into a black hole. There is no way to track or monitor what you have submitted. It would be nice if Trulia used getSatisfaction.com or some other site like that where customers can interact with support staff or developers. That way, you and I could both vote up an issue and maybe then it would get prioritized higher.

just a suggestion if anyone is listening...

Hi Megan,

It looks like you've already successfully added this open house date and time to your listing. I'm glad you were able to do that successfully. Please be sure to let us know if you have any other questions or feedback to share with us.

For those who have the same question, please note that open houses can only be added to homes that you've claimed on Trulia and added to the My Listings section of your account. Once a home is listed there, you will find options on the My Listings page to 'Edit listing' or 'Add Open House Times'.

Emily Erekuff answered:
Hi April,

There is no cost to list a property for sale or for rent on Trulia.

As a landlord, you can post your property for rent on our site via the link below, and if you do so you will be prompted to provide photos for the property. However we do not accept FSBO listings at this time. If you are working with a broker or agent to sell your home, he/she can submit your property information to us for both sale and rent.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Tom,

The listings on Trulia come to us from real estate brokers who send us data feeds of their listings, real estate agents who directly submit their listings to Trulia, as well as participating Multiple Listing Services and Web site vendors. Trulia's listing information is updated daily and new listings are constantly being added to the site.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, or if you have any feedback you'd like to share with us.

Hi Geo,

Welcome to Trulia and thank you for reaching out to us about this. Your listing is not being shown as 'for sale' at this time which indicates that your broker or agent has yet to submit your listing information to us. Please direct your agent or broker to http://www.trulia.com/submit_listings/ so they can submit your listing to our site. The manual submission process only takes a few minutes and your listing will be live on our site within 24 to 48 hours.

Please also be sure to let us know if you have any other questions or feedback for us.

Hi Mark,

Welcome to Trulia Voices and thank you for reaching out to us about this. I'm afraid that this incorrect data is the result of a bug in our code that our engineers are currently troubleshooting and at present we have no way to update the information manually. We hope to have a fix in place soon and I'll do my best to post an update here once that happens.

Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

You might "claim" the listings:

or submited them:
http://www.trulia.com/submit_listings/

In addition, it could be a good idea to clean the ones that are no longer for sale.
