College...Grade School....

There are many variables here. If you are attending College here, I would walk the neighborhood near the campus first.

Best of luck,

Yes, teachers are on Strike. It will likely be short lived and not have any real negative effect on Real Estate values due to lack of buying power from teachers.

Hi Mellis,

If you scroll down on the listing and click on the tab that says Crime, you can actually see what kinds of crimes are happening in the neighborhood.

Hi,
I have answered your question before, but would like to add some additional information for you.
If and when you like to narrow down your home search based on the school needs for your children,
I will be able to provide you with the respective schools school report card, i.e. a link to their respective website so that you can see the classes they offer, the grades the students achieve etc. But at this point your preferences for a home are also important.....

I have researched all the homes that are available in your app. price range not knowing how many particular rooms you are looking for and all other details as finished basement, size of garage, lot size etc..... and
have narrowed it down to about 67, less if you exclude some suburbs that you may feel are too far in distance from O'Hare but from most of the North Shore suburbs you would be able to make it to O'hare
in about 30 to 45 minutes, excluding accidents, and or really bad winter weather.....

I went through a list of an expanded area and about 150 properties to narrow it down to those 67 for various reasons.

I would very much like to forward those listings to you for your review, that way at least you could narrow down the style of home you like most, and that will narrow down how many homes will fit your needs as to
size and amenities, then I will assist you gladly in guiding you to the school information sites relevant to
the various properties in question. And potentially also narrow it down to various suburbs you want to
start concentrating on.

And continuously forward any price changes or new homes to you as they come on the market in your preferred areas. When do you think would you be in the area to view properties? For out of State or out of the country buyer clients I usually ask for about a week to 10 days advance notice to prepare the half day or
full day viewing tours, I like to line them up so that one does not lose time on the way from one to the other.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Most Sincerely yours,

Edith
