Your history shows you have less than 2 yrs of steady work in the same field and you are now an independent contractor...
I would hope you talk to your finance and see if he is okay if you decide you just want half the house and not make any payments and then screw his credit up.
Think about the other person also and not just yourself...
If, he cannot afford this house all on his own then he should not buy it and if you are not married then you should not be on the deed as you are just boyfriend and girlfriend in the eyes of real estate --
No such thing as a finance (really)...
He cannot go back and say my finance is responsible --- they will not care and hold him fully responsible ...
So, do not put the cart before the horse -- get married or understand the laws as it applies to owning a property with respect to being a boyfriend and girlfriend -- consult an attorney and not real estate agents on this matter.
