They're looking for 1 months rent, 2 months security and you will have to provide a credity report. There are a number of websites you can go to for your credit report just make sure you get one with a credit score.

The correct line of thinking is this: The transfer value according to Trulia is the amount of the last sale on the house. Thus, this house was last purchased before the town of Cheshire started recording such data. Since there has not been a transaction since these owners purchased the home, the town assigns a "$1" value. New Haven is riddled with "$0"s.

The more important question is: “what is the value your bank’s appraiser will likely assign to this property and how do I get the owners to take less….”

I grew up in Cheshire and have been a real estate Broker for 10+ years. Call me with any other questions. 203-640-5300. Good luck in your search and try to stay away from short sales and foreclosures....

All listings are subject to human error when being input into MLS which is what drives the information to Trulia and other sites. There is a disclaimer on the MLS which addresses this. It could also be that the town field cards are calling it something else and some agents feel safer going with that. Tough question - and as I recall from P&P way back when, I dont think realtors can actually answer that question. It's a "psychological" stigma and not a material fact. Kind of one of those question we can't legally answer - not too different from "what kind of people live in that neighborhood?".

Maybe the neighbors can answer that one for you. Realtors can't. Not legally anyway.

The monthly homeowner association fees are $414, and the annual taxes are $4,413. The listing does not indicate how much the heat costs annually. Just in case you are not familiar with the complex, it is an active adult complex for those age 55 and older.
